WHO ARE YOU?

Kaiton Slusher...Indianapolis...musician

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

Traveling over seas DJing and recording music / writing new material

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

Working on a new electro album. Lots of synths and beats..wanting to write some tracks that people can get down to on the dance floor..Plus i have a few collabs in the works..One of them is an album of music for film , really atmospheric , mostly live recordings of Cello , Dulcimer , Guitar , keyboards , voice, found sound. A project that takes you away from the computer generated stuff . the other project is something thats kinda at the begining stages. I am doing lots of field recordings with my mic and tascam portable digital recorder. Doing on site recordings of my friends playing instruments . then taking them back to the studio and reworking them to my liking , adding subtracting , rearranging , that sorta thing..

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

Listening to alot from the label 12k....plus some old school 80's electronica.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

Greece , I just got back and I loved the vibe . Planning on moving there in about a year.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

The entire local scene ! Lots of great dj's and producers/ indy bands are starting to emerge..Plus we have a slew of great local labels really making their mark across the globe.
