INTERVIEW: DARRIN SNIDER

WHO ARE YOU?

Darrin Snider: By day, a business analyst for a marketing company and former Internet application designer. By night, a local music promoter best known as the producer and host of the Indy In-Tune Podcast (http://www.indyintune.com).

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

Editing a series of shows from Kammy's Kause (https://www.kammyskause.org), 8 Seconds Saloon's Rock Battle (http://8secondssaloon.com/site/index.php?option=com_uhp2&Itemid=51), and the Battle of Birdy's (http://www.battleofbirdys.com/). Organizing the monthly "Musician's Night Out" (http://www.indyintune.com/social) to get bands in different genres and styles to network socially and further a unified music scene in Indianapolis. Attempting to promote and encourage others to help create a podcasting "scene" in Indianapolis (http://www.indypodcaters.com). Trying to convince the family that four nights a week going out to bars and watching bands is a vital and necessary component of my future plans for total media domination.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

Possibly a new studio-only band in the works for the winter, time permitting. Hopefully continuing work on the video studio and moving towards a streaming video version of Indy In-Tune (http://indyintune.com/vodcast.asp). Episode 100 looms on the horizon and demands festivities.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

Heard Drachemusik/Charles Shriner (http://www.drachemusik.com) at Oranje, then went out and bought all his stuff off iTunes the next day, so you could say I'm somewhat obsessed with it. New releases from local acts the Jeremy Vogt Band (http://www.vogtweb.com), Jethro Easyfields (http://www.myspace.com/jethroeasyfields), Pres Maxson (http://www.last.fm/music/Pres%2520Maxson?ac=pres%20maxson), and Cootie Crabtree (http://www.myspace.com/cootiebcrabtree) being played a lot these days. Got introduced to Christine Southworth's "Zap" album and Terry Riley/Kronos Quartet's "Sun Rings" on the New Sounds Podcast (http://www.wnyc.org/shows/newsounds/) recently that absolutely blew my mind.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

My unstoppable run of good luck at poker lately; St. Louis Cardinals Post-Season Baseball; VRMLQ; things that recently turned blue; NaNoWriMo (this is my year); meeting new friends; finding long-lost friends; strange opportunities being dropped in my lap.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Twin Cats just put out a killer album (http://www.thetwincats.net/) . Jenn Cristy's long-awaited CD coming out October 23rd (http://www.jenncristy.com/). Dead Man's Grill (http://deadmansgrill.com/) just took the 8 Seconds Rock battle and are expected to do well in the Battle of Birdy's as well. Tim Spainhower (http://www.timspainhower.com) should soon be finishing at least one of the four albums he's working on. Not sure what direction they're thinking of going, but I'm thinking the John Stockton Project has legs in at least one medium, possibly more than one (http://www.myspace.com/thejohnstocktonproject).

INTERVIEW: COOL HAND LEX

WHO ARE YOU?

Based out of Indianapolis, I'm a dude that makes and plays music. Behind the boards I produce under a gang of aliases, under a gang of genres. Behind the decks I'm Cool Hand Lex, playing pretty well whatever shakes rumps and isn't a club line dance. I also run the Circle City Mixshow (http://www.circlecitymixshow.com), a website dedicated to featuring Indiana's incredible DJ's and their music. I'm a Nappy City representer!!

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

I'm steady on two turntables, man. I have 4-6 weekly shows including a House music night, a couple Top 40/ crossover nights, a new dance/remix oriented night, and some live radio mixes in there as well. I need to spend more time producing... I always feel so guilty about that!

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

Biggest thing coming up is the release of the homie Grey Granite's single, "Lay U Down" on HeavyGun (available on iTunes, Amazon, etc...). I just finished work on some Baltimore Club tracks, some House tracks, and a couple R&B remixes and bootlegs that I'll be making available shortly as well. In November I'm playing at Zanzabar in Louisville with the dudes DJ Sleepy T (http://www.myspace.com/djsleepyt) and Figure (http://www.myspace.com/figurefigure
). Pretty stoked about that. I'm also trying to work out a brief trip out west to rock with the homies DJ Dangerous Dan in Denver (http://www.dangerousdan.net), DJ 812 in Arizona (http://www.myspace.com/dj812original), and some more cats around the way.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

So much good stuff out right now... Of course, Grey Granite (http://www.myspace.com/greygranite) is cued up, backed up by the super production of J. Brookinz (http://www.myspace.com/jbrookinz). Nu Disco is the next wave in electronic music "fads" (I say fad only because its popular, not because its dispensable) and my guys Sleepy T and Figure just released a track called "It's Only Love" thats a banger. The Mudkids just recently dropped an EP as well, "MKEP," and that's been in rotation. Everything Continues (http://www.myspace.com/everythingcontinues) latest mix is super dope and has been catching a lot of action in my car. I've really been feeling all the house records Afrojack, Spencer & Hill, and Alvaro have been putting out. Lots of stuff by Doorly and HavocNdeed have been hitting my sets too. Again, lots of good music all across the board.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

I'm really feeling Ableton Live right now. The more I use it, the more I enjoy using it! I'll back that with my Novation ReMote 37SL which is a dandy piece of gear. Its got Novation's Automap built in, allowing you to control all your plug ins on board without having to set each up individually! REAL time saver. I'm also gonna ride for Yats, a local cajun restaurant. Their Maux Chox is killer and only trumped by their classic Crawfish etouffe. Definitely a good look now that its getting colder. Also, I'm really feeling everyone in the city that's fighting to keep electronic music alive and growing. After Indy got hit with the anti-rave laws around 2001, its been a solid uphill battle trying to get people to support and out to events. There are a few people really working to keep it alive here, so thank you.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Anybody that I've already mentioned, check 'em out. Surely there's something in there that will catch your ear. Peep the Circle City Mixshow for some new music from local DJs, check out the Heavy Gun blog (http://www.heavygunblog.com) for all sorts of badassery, as well as Bring the Fiyah, a spot on the web that legitimately lives up to its name!

SECRET AGENT GEL

WHO ARE YOU?

I'm Corey H Maass. I produce and DJ as Secret Agent Gel [http://secretagentgel.com] [http://myspace.com/secretagentgel] [http://myspace.com/gel44]. I do a monthly radio show on Sub.FM with BlackPlague called The Kids Are Bored [http://thekidsarebored.com] and we DJ out sometimes using that name. I run a digital label called Bass Tourist [http://basstourist.com] for anything I like really, tho mostly it's danceable music with a focus on basslines. I run a file distribution web site for DJ's and musicians called DubFiler [http://dubfiler.com].

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

Last month we released one of my tunes with Coppa on the vocals on my Bass Tourist label. London's Bok Bok did a killer remix. [http://www.basstourist.com/] I just had a remix come out on BlipSwitch - exclusive to Beatport until Aug 11 [https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/178133/Dark%20Tide%20Disco%202009].
Most of my time is spent working on DubFiler, tho - blog posts, promotion and adding new features.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

I've got some new beats in the works. Watch for a couple more small releases this winter.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Mostly feeling some UK funky and specifically DJ's who are really mixing it up while keeping it dark but danceable. The Night Slugs crew from London [http://nightslugs.com], Kingdom from Brooklyn [http://www.myspace.com/kkingdomm], some dubstep folks like Kode9, oneman, some grime and funky folks like Roska and Marcus Nasty. Watch my twitter feeds for mixes [http://twitter.com/coreymaass][http://twitter.com/
dubfiler
]

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

Ableton Live, which is the center of my studio for production, DJing, everything, has upgraded to 8 and it's stellar. New features, new effects, new instruments (for me). Can't beat it.

I ride a Bajaj scooter, like a vintage Vespa, around Brooklyn and it's amazing. Easy trips to the park, the beach. It's the only way to get around in the summer. I haven't been on the train in a week.

A month ago I moved in with two cats. I'm not a cat person, but damn, they're great. Not as great as dogs, but I am definitely enjoying them. Anyone who's settled should go adopt a dog or a cat that needs a home.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

I am feeling the fine things in life #1 being good friends and inspiring peers #2 being ridiculous beverages; Coffee and Tea being passions that I've traveled to the ends of earth for (Shizuoka, Japan for the best Green Teas, Iceland for Moss tea, Brazil for coffee beans, Italy to drink it, etc.) #3 must be crate digging collections and finding records never dreamed of (everything has been recorded before, sampled before, and made better, but you've got to try any way)

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Careful to avoid the retro-yesterday right away, don't get suckered into living social networked half-life, it's better to live it in front of others / with others.

STAR EYES

WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Star Eyes. You can call me Vivian if we know each other. I live in an industrial part of Brooklyn. I'm best known for being a DJ and 1/4th of the Trouble & Bass crew. I am also known for, in no particular order: using weird slang, dancing a lot, carrying Sharpies wherever I go, wearing hot pink pants, making dirty jokes, drinking Maker's Mark, and thinking puppets and lemurs are funny.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

In the last few months, I released the Disappear EP on Trouble & Bass (as well as a video that's up at troubleandbass.blogspot.com) and a remix of Michna (on Ghostly). Lately, I'm working on writing more songs and staying cool.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

Got an L.A. installment of our Trouble & Bass party coming up August 14th, then a T&B Euro tour with myself and The Captain in September, before we come home and celebrate three years of Trouble & Bass with Skream & Benga (September 19, Le Poisson Rouge, NYC)! So basically I am partying until winter, then I will cuddle up to my Mac and hibernate.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

Right now, I'm on a sort of goth tropical vibe. On the new end: minimal house, UK funky, grime, spooky dubstep. On the classics tip: Happy Mondays/Madchester stuff, old Roll Deep mixtapes, Mount Sims' Wild Light album, Caustic Window, nature sounds (oceans and rain mostly).

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

Summer obsessions include:
* Finding the best tacos around where I live and eating them repeatedly. Lately, I can be found Papacito's in Greenpoint for their $1.50 taco happy hour. Their seitan tacos are amazing. I also rate La Superior in Williamsburg (though their tacos are crazy small) and Taco Chulo.

* Watching Durrty Goodz freestyles. Amazing. I love his crazy eye.

* I am not all ComicCon or whatever but I really enjoy reading the Masters of the Universe character wiki.

Mikix the Cat (a.k.a. Momma's Boy), Bok Bok, Kingdom, Egyptrixx, Joker, DJG, Rampage, Dre Skull, Jubilee, Mayster, Tomb Crew!, and of course my dudes: Drop the Lime, AC Slater, and The Captain.

MATT SHADETEK

WHO ARE YOU?

Matt Shadetek, New Yorker born in bread, currently residing in Brooklyn. I make beats and DJ, write and run Dutty Artz with DJ /Rupture.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

I've been building with my Dutty Artz family. Running the New York Tropical parties in Brooklyn with Geko Jones, Uproot Andy, Lamin Fofana and Rupture. I just recently played the BK edition of Secousse with Radioclit and The Very Best. I had a son in February, Archie, and he likes sub bass already, so watch out for him.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

I've been working on two major projects, the first is Jahdan Blakkamoore's album Buzzrock Warrior which is dropping September 15th worldwide on Gold Dust Media with 8 tracks by me, beats from Modeselektor, Jammer and more. I've also recently completed a new mix album with DJ /Rupture called Solar Life Raft which is dropping in November via The Agriculture. It's got tracks from Mizz Beats, Noah D, Matty G and us remixing Telepathe and Gang Gang Dance along with a bunch of original tracks by us.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

Lately I've been listening to a lot of different forms of house music, stuff from Africa, especially the stuff that Spoek Mathambo is doing with his brother Big Space in their HIVIP project. Chief Boima is also playing a lot of really exciting stuff, Coupe Decale and other forms of African dance music. That stuff and a lot of UK Funky, people like Footsteps, Hard House Banton and Crazy Cousins. Also dancehall, Erup, Blak Ryno, Stephen Di Genious. It goes on and on.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

I recently bought myself a Nintendo DSi which is pretty cool. I've been reading a lot of Gene Wolfe, James Tiptree Junior and Octavia Butler. Especially Butler, if you don't know, look her up. Also I bought some Nikes with hot pink laces that match my magenta Dutty Artz tshirt. Mad.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Skerrity Bwoy is basically the maddest entertainer in NYC. Besides him Uproot Andy definitely, he's on fire. Chief Boima, Spoek Mathambo, Geko Jones, Rupture, Lamin Fofana, Jahdan and 77Klash. Basically my extended Dutty Artz fam.

BD1982

WHO ARE YOU?

I'm BD1982, a producer and DJ from the Seclusiasis crew. I like to make music on an MPC and always keep the drums first and foremost. I'd say my main influences are reggae music, tomorrow's classics of yesterday as well as zombie movies from the 70s and 80s

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

The past couple months I've been playing at Goth-Trad's Back To Chill night in Tokyo along with 100mado, Ena, and a bunch of other guest DJs. I was asked to record an exclusive mix on the BTC monthly podcast which is online now.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

First up is the "Shotta Pon De Corner ft. 77KLASH/Space Boots" single on Seclusiasis with a gang of remixes by Slugabed, Hovatron, Starkey, Tayo, Philadelphyinz, Turnin' Tricks and Dore. The digital will be available September 7th and the limited vinyl soon to follow. The release party for the single will at the Back To Chill 3rd Anniversary on September 5th in Tokyo. I'll also be releasing a full length digital-only LP called "Lets Talk Math" in the fall.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

Dev79's upcoming single "Live N Die 4 Tha Street Bass" is crazy, Starkey always has ridiculous new material, really feeling L-Vis1990's new stuff, Pacheko's got real nice heavy and melodic tracks out soon, Martin Kemp and Mickey Pearce first Blunted Robots single is wild, always checking for Stephen "di Genius" McGregor's new riddims, Dam-Funk is killin it...The list can go on for a minute.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

1) Recently cool summer nights have been by favorite time of day. Go out and get some good food, take a walk with wifey, break into a public swimming pool, etc.

2) S is for Space by Ray Bradbury is nostalgic summertime reading for me even though I only read it last year. The book is a collection of short sci-fi stories that you'll appreciate if you ever liked old Twilight Zone episodes. "Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed" is especially awesome.

3) So far my favorite record store in Japan is definitely Dub Store in Shinjuku. This place has got a ton of records dating back as far as the 1950s with some calypso, but focuses on dancehall 45s from 1980s to 1990s. Ridiculous spot, always leave with a stack of great music.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Definitely BreY from London who's making some real creative and intricate tracks, Low Leaf from LA is building her own world of spaced out crunk singalongs, 100mado has fresh tech-centric dubs all the time, and Taliesin's mixes are running the bass gamut of the world.

Bring The Fiyah Podcast // Interview and Assorted Tracks!

The good people over at Indy In-Tune did an interview with us last month. Check it out! Thanks Darrin!

Indy In-Tune says:

I love a bit of controversy. I've actually had very little with this show over the years, and what I did have is normally from that vocal group of five or six listeners who hate it when I change anything, no matter how minute ... new layout on the web site, moving the introbabble to the outrobabble, opening the show with a track instead of music news, etc. This week sparked a particularly heated debate from the limited-vision what is probably of that exact same group of four or five people: Are club DJ's technically musicians, and should they be featured on Indy In-Tune?

As if this is some exclusive country club?! Honestly, sometimes I think most people should be begging me not to associate myself with them.

Trust me, both El Carnicero and Motif (aka: the Bring the Fiyah crew) are not only musicians, but they are also a fascinating melange of producer, DJ, artist, computer programmer, sociologist, music historian, entertainer, PR consultant, entrepreneur, music researcher, writer, journalist, and probably twenty other trades and skills once you scratch a little deeper beneath the surface. This interview covers all of that, as well as a bit about their roots, their current work, and their plans for building a multimedia publication empire dedicated to culture, fashion, art, and of course music. Really, the stuff that these guys deal with on a nightly basis boggles the mind, as I witnessed the following week, when I dropped back by their Wednesday night residency at Blu to take a few pictures, hang out in the booth, and watch them in action. I can safely say, as a project manager and someone who likes to have everything go according to a pre-defined plan, I do not envy these guys with the rapid, real-time, ups and downs, adapting, adjusting, and scrambling that they go through every night. I'd much rather sit on the other side of the speakers and listen and watch.

INTERVIEW: KING CANNIBAL

HEAVY!! HEAVY! HEAVY!!! We continue our interview series with South London based producer KING CANNIBAL!

WHO ARE YOU?

King Cannibal noise maker from South London. Signed to Nina Tune. I've had released out on Rag & Bone, Combat Records and Uncharted Audio under the name King Cannibal and Warp, Lo, Domino, Fat! and 2600 Recordings as 'ZILLA'.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?

I've just finished my first album, which has been taking up most of my time for about a year now. Really really happy with it, and i'm off to get it mastered next week along with the next 12". I was pretty naive in terms of how much time not only an album takes, but everything else around it, artwork, mixes, shows, then promoting the shows, interviews and still trying to keep on top of online network sites & my http://godsofwar.wordpress.com blog. As a result i've been trying to keep gigs to a minimum, the last show i did was a couple of weeks ago - Kievbass in the Ukraine. A brilliant night run by some really enthusiastic people. Its funny how i still find time to watch back to back episodes of The Wire though.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?

In a few days from the moment of writing i'm over in Bristol for [Dissident] a night which i played late last year, in fact one of my favourite events. Always a brilliant line up with a huge drum & bass acts in the main room - Dom & Roland is playing, (one of my heroes) along with Teebee, Bailey, D Bridge, Ebola, Warlock and more - a huge line up .That'll no doubt be an insane night. From there i'm going to spend a few days with Ebola and will be in studio for his Wrong Music Radio Show on Monday the 4th of May 10pm - 12am. Soo many events coming up. The Remix Allnighter at Matter in the O2 will be massive too, Joker, N Type, Freeland, Herve thats on the 15th of May and later that week i'm in Rotterdam for PRSPCT XL 9 in association with Subway. That is another dream line up for me, soo many gods playing that night, Current Value, Limewax, Radien , Donny, Hellfish..... :)

I have my Virgo / Murder Us 12" out on Ninja in a few days on the 4th of May and another 12" (which is in fact more of an EP) to follow around July / August and finally the album August / September on Ninja Tune.

I've also a remix of Sarantis featuring Warrior Queen - Retaliate on the Senseless' compilation 'Vocals & Version 2' compilation June, a month after 'Vocals & Versions 1'. Other remixes completed are 'Come Out To Play' for Bong-Ra - something i initially didn't play out much but its really slaying the dancefloor i'm proud to say, and also 'Super Mantis' by Scorn for Combat Recordings.

I'm always keen to remix people and have plans but nothing confirmed yet, unfortunately my album deadline forced me to pass up remixes for Dj Food, Juice Aleem & Yppah - and that is stuff from Ninja alone. I'm about to start work on something ball-bustingly huge but i don't want to say too much about that in case it doesn't come off.

In the same way that i'm always up for doing remixes i'm forever promising to collaborate with other acts i think on my list of people to work with now is Ebola, Emika (a new signing to Ninja Tune) Broken Note, Bong-Ra, Mount Kimble, and i'm sure i've missed a couple of the list.

I'm about to start work on a number of sessions for Eddy Temple Morris (who has been a big big supporter of my stuff) and Jon Kenndy on XFM and Jay Cunningon KISS FM.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?

Untold - Sweat on Hotflush. Its the classic problem for me, i'd really struggle to pull of playing this out unless it was in a marathon set but it's a beautifully made forever rolling piece of sound.

Two Fingers - Two Fingers on Big Dada. A inspiring cross pollination of hiphop & dance hall taking in drum & bass sounds and techy moods. In particular the two tracks with Ms Jade - 'Better Get That' and 'Doing My Job' two track i'd wish i'd could have written.

I'm actually really enjoying the re-release of Miss Kitten & The Hacker's 'First Album' i guess i missed it the first time round.

Instra:mental's output is really amazing right now too as is Andy Stott's and anything Current Value touches.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?

The Sonic Router , http://sonicrouter.blogspot.com/ is my favourite music blog right now. It avoids the 'i'm cool and you can't be in my cool gang' vibe that a lot of new music blogs seem to have going on. Knowledgeable reviews by knowledgeable people.

DVD Delirium Volumes 1-3. An essential guide to obscure cinema. Its ultimately a reference book, but a very informative well written one that i've read through cover to cover on many occasions. Good source of film titles to draw inspiration for song titles too.

The Office (U.S). Next to Seinfeld my favourite comedy series of all time. A different show to the original UK version that actually beats it for me. It got largely dis-regarded over here and buried on the TV schedules, but its a total gem.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?

Broken Note - brilliantly produced multi-genre dark as hell music that beats my production to a bloody pulp.

Regolith - its hard to sum up what these do exactly as any discription of them i think would be instantly giving a limited view. A two man partnership using heavily treated music and really dark drone instrumentation. All most classical at times.

Emika, new signing to Ninja Tune. Berlin based electronic musician mixing minimal with classic song writing, a very skilled producer who also works in sound design at Native Instruments.

INTERVIEW: 77KLASH

A few words with 77KLASH.....

WHO ARE YOU?

INTERVIEW: DEV79

Continuing our series of interviews....next up is the legendary DEV79!!! Philly's finest gives us a look into his world....

WHO ARE YOU?
Me is Dev79...heavy reppin' Philly. I make your body lose control. I play street bass. I get blunted. I fuck bitches make em go ohh ahh.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY?
I been twerkin with a lot of remix action lately...my remix of Kotchy's "Check Out My Keychain" just dropped and my dubplate remix of Raffertie's "Antisocial" is on Starkey's "Stark Bass" mixCD. After takin a breather from DJ'ing so much, for a minute, I'm gettin back into the club thang full swing. Been a few bumpin' times in Philly and NY recently.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE COMING UP?
This Saturday night we doin the Stenchman party in Philly, should be pretty bonkers, lookin forward to that fer sure. If peoples is in the area, def head over and get ya wild on.

My "Hater" version of the Raffertie joint will be hitting wax in June on Seclusiasis. Also gots a bunch of bootlegs brewin for the next two volumes of the Street Bass Anthems series. Remixes for Sonic 86 ft. Syntonics and NoNewYork also slated to damage speakers in the near future. Plus I'm gonna be doing a mixCD for 611 Records, very soon, thats gonna be straight murder. I'm sure theres some other shit but I can't remember.

WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU INTO RIGHT NOW?
I'm a sucka for a ton of bassline...the stuff thats real fucked in the head but still has club sensibilites and vocals, is what gets me jazzed. With what I heard so far, I'm lookin forward to that new Cam'ron album droppin in May, i think killa's ready for a comeback. Dem Get-A-Way Boyz "Imma Gee" is that heat right there, first dirty south song to really move me in a minute. I been listened to a lot of 1xtra web radio lately. Summertime is comin and we all know that means the hottest dancehall reggae of the year is about to pop, I'm on the look out for whats gonna be this year's standout riddim.

WHAT ARE YOU FEELING RIGHT NOW?
Yo I had a almond & taro bubble tea shake the other day and pow, shit was real good. Mix n' match those flavors kids. New sensations.

Laptop stands that look like a girl on all fours. I'm sayin, someone should sponsor me and make me a custom stand like this.

Purple haze + pink pussy = my life.

WHO SHOULD WE WATCH OUT FOR?
Starkey is the champ. Trust it. Been feelin' TRC and Delinquent ("Bigger Than Bassline" is massive) a lot as well as shit from B. Rich, Egyptrixx, Pacheko, and of course serious big up to all Seclusiasis and Slit Jockey fam straight killin it right now - Kotchy, Raffertie, BD1982, DZ, Sonkin, Ghost, and of course El Carnicero. So much fire goin on right now!

Watch out for that swine flu thing thats goin around...shit sounds nasty. And I'm a call it now - watch someone make a cheesy dubstep tune called "Swine Flu" in the next month...

Sativa Rose are you out there listening?? I need you for my next street bass CD cover, holler!

Catch DEV79 getting dirty this Saturday, May 2nd in Philadelphia with Stenchman, Secret Agent Gel, Flufftronix, and RX.
